The best part of this joke for me is that I first heard it from my 10 year old sister:

Two men are walking down the street when they spot a dog sitting on the sidewalk licking its balls.

"Gee, I wish I could do that" says one guy.

"I think you'd better try just petting it first..." replies the other.
